Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite spotted: Specs, colours, imagery and more

Samsung might have a new tablet up its sleeve in the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite. Despite the name, it still looks to be a capable device and based on the supposed leaked specifications so far, serves as a direct successor to 2019’s Galaxy Tab S5e.

The crux of the latest leak (as spotted by Tech Radar) comes courtesy of a tweet by user @MaxJMB, who posted what appeared to be a series of official product photos and a link to a product page on photography/technology retailer B&H’s website.

The page (now delisted) made mention of a few specifications that reinforced existing leaks, including a 10.1in display sporting a 2000×1200 resolution (although a resolution of 2000×1000 has also been mentioned elsewhere), an Exynos 9610 chipset at its core backed up by 4GB of RAM, with the option of 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. A 7040mAh battery is also expected to feature, as is the split of both a WiFi-only and LTE cellular model to choose between.

The imagery depicts a metal-bodied, black-bezelled tablet that features a single front and single rear camera. The Tab S6 Lite looks to charge via USB-C too and boasts AKG-tuned sound, although it’s hard to tell if the slate has a headphone jack or the branding simply ties into the visible speaker grille in its base.

Support for one of Samsung’s S-Pen styli also appears to be included, with the stylus employing a circular cross-section and matching one of the Tab’s four cited colourways: black, Oxford Gray, Chiffon Rose and Angora Blue.

Pricing and availability

H&B listed a starting price of $349.99 (approximately £280), although storage and connectivity will drive the price up, depending on the other SKUs that do eventually launch.
